What Studio is doing is looking for the unique tuning names in light. Any item cloned from one of the lamps that had a unique tuning name will get a script call failure as a result of this removal. At the same time, to speed game load time, EA removed the old unique tuning resources from the game files.
So all floor lamps got the same floor lamp tuning and so on. With this patch, EA changed all those unique tuning names and gave all the lamps of a specific type the same exact generic tuning name. This tuning is the code that makes them behave like a table lamp, a floor lamp, or a ceiling lamp in the game. They are absent because Studio is looking for very specific tuning names and some lamps don’t have one of those tuning resources, so they don’t require fixing.īefore this patch, most but not all lamps had a unique tuning name. Just as an FYI to anyone who uses Studio’s light batch-fix (because we’ve had some questions about it): it is very likely some CC lights in your Mods folder won’t show up on the list of lights Studio fixed.
